another AU adventure.
Jul. 12th, 2004 07:29 pmI have Kippur to thank for this. And for once it wasn't really a bad idea.
Teena, Teena, Kippur and I were chatting, when Kippur at one point says, "In the words of Pinky, What would the children look like?" In regards to Teean (author) and myself. Agent Teena and her discussed it some and came up with very powerful with the attentions span of a gnat. At least a non-sue child of ours. One that would concivably come from the two of us.
In any case later, we did the calculations and found one. And we took the leap. Into the unknown!
One not so dramatic trip into a closet later, we found a world where... where Lorac went Beserk and Killed off Verra and Brax. Yeah, Braxious too. I never thought he'd do that. Never dreamed that he would. Huh.
In any case... Teena did a heroic thing in bringing me back from the edge. It involved a lot of hard work in her case. And that's where the kids come in. Yeah kids. See she figured that getting pregnant would be the way to snap me out of it, as it were. And she did. With twins.
Not completely surprising as they do run in the family.
Apparently after having twins it was decided that I was going to have a vasectamy. Apparenlty, also I agreed to it. Teena wanted to know, on our little trip, while I was so nervous about mentioning such at thing. I guess it was a just sort of a... well... back home we didn't do such things. It's practicaly a castration, I mean the testicals are still there... but they're essentially useless. And castration was only something done to criminals -rapists- back home. That me must have really loved Teena to do that for her.
The kids were named Kitsune and Lessa. Kitsune means fox. The irony of it all hasn't escaped me. Especially since my dad was going to name me Fox. I'm just surprised I kept to the tradition. I didn't do it for Braxious... because well Verra over-ruled me. Braxious was the name of her favorite uncle who died while fighting off the Dragonslayer.
Cute little buggers. Kitsune has my elemental abilities. Lessa (as in the Pern Weyrwoman) has Teena's Angel powers. Together they have my chaotic abilities. But only together. As Teena said, "Wonder twins power activate".
It was interesting.
