Well two interesting things.

First off Corry wants me to move in with him. Which is really sweet and wonderful and lovely and everything like that. And I would love to move in with him. Really I would. But I can't. I'm married. To Verra, not him.

It's funny, alot of people have been giving me odd looks when I say I have a boyfriend on the side of being married and that Verra knows about it and doesn't care. I explain it down to the Dragon Way of Doing Things, stuff like that. And that usually gives them some sort of explination. Though it really doesn't. Verra may look human alot of times but she really is a dragon.

I've mentioned that instead of menstrating female dragons have this incredible sex drive every three months. The thing that I haven't mentioned is that ... well... that's the only time they're intersted in sex. It's very all or nothing for them. It's one of the things that drives me crazy. No sex for three months and then bamn! three days and nights of monkey madness.

A human can't take that. Not very well. I guess that's why I liked having the sex with Kit and now Corry, it's not as intense or as violent and it's at a more human pace. It's more human.

Yeah. More human.

This isn't to say I don't love Verra. I love her deeply, extrodinarily... it's just that she's not human. She is a dragon. And that is a bit of a problem.

In other news I found my folk's equivialent of Twerps Peerage while I was scronging around in my office back home. It's the entire geneology of the twelve... and earlier fifteen original founding families. I can trace my line all the way back to the founding of the city, the one that Lorac destroyed, all the way to Troven and his son Fox. There's some stuff from a little bit beyond that too. It's kind of interesting. In the Troven line there's a short line from the Fey about a thousand fifty odd years ago. One of them married into the family briefly. Ever since then the Troven's were considered sort of "Fey". In a bad sort of way.

It's an intersting book.
