Dec. 31st, 2006 09:48 pmIt had been quiet.
He has been unbusy. Remarkably unbusy.
It was giving him time to think.
About how lonely he was. He missed hearing Braxious coming home from school. It was that time, too. He should be bursting through the door, bag over his shoulder, Rin on his shoulder.
He had found Rin as a pile of burnt something or another. No way to reconstruct. Not that he wanted to.
Verra should be by. She would creep up behind him and give him a hug and nuzzle his neck. Or have the baby with her. Just be there, smiling and asking him to help her with something.
But instead he was alone.
All alone.
And it was all his fault. Because he hadn't been there.
Now he was alone.
All alone.
