There had been a note at the front desk at the Inn for Alec. A request from Dale to meet him at a set of coordinates. The note didn't say anything else. It was kind of on the odd side, but Dale was odd.   So  after dropping off the  Spear of Fire with the other four weapons and trying to get the blue dye out of his hair (which didn't work at all) Alec portled himself there.

There being a rather random looking rocky planet that looked like Vasquze Rocks. And nothing else really, except for a metal structure with a series of doors.  It looked like it was just a wall... with doors.

But Dale was there.

Shoving the portal generator into his pack, Alec walked over to the Caretaker with a wave. "Got your note."

Alec goes into a long triabe about the Caretaker and what he'd like to do to him and he curses his ancestors and his mother and is generally foul mouthed, all the while struggling to get out of the freeze.

He ignores him and continues insulting him. He's slipped into several other languages now, Klingon, Orc, Fan girl, all the ones with the really good insults.

*Sighs* I hate to do this to you, but we're both needed elsewhere and the clock's ticking. *Reaches into Alec's brain and "switches off" his emotions* There. Now are you ready to talk sense?

I realize this is an oddball question to be asking someone who currently is emotionless, but after what you went through in the room, are you still afraid of Lorac?

"... let's see. He's got access to life magic and over a thousand years of experince. I've got only the elemental magics. And while I've got thousands of years of experince it doesn't do me any good because it's for powers that I don't have any more. So, yes." Biting sarcasem has nothing to do with emotions.

And the ones you've gained as well as rediscovered mean nothing? *Shakes head* Alec, you're a stubborn bastard, which is probably why I like you so much. *Consults a pocket watch* Ah, must be off. *Tips an imaginary hat* I'll be in touch.

*Vanishes, and with him the hold spell and Alec's emotions switch back on.*

He dropped to the ground still cursing and brushed himself off. He then glowered at the training facility and had the distinct satisfaction of seeing it blow up.

After that, he went to the Inn.
