(RP with Mel.)
Alec stood in front of the Inn idly picking at the embrodiary of his jacket as he waited for Mel to show up. It was a brilliant red jacket with phoenixes embrodiered on the cuffs and sleeves and reminded him way too much of the jacket that Lorac had gotten him. It wasn't the same. The cut was different, more for this time's style than Lorac's time and so was the fabric. The phoenixes weren't even the same. But still, it reminded him of Lorac. He wore the jacket because it was his offical jacket. The one that said, "Hello, I'm a Troven, and better than the lot of you." That and the respectable shirt (a pale gray with embrodired geometric designs) and pants with clean boots instead of his usall tromping around everywhere boots, he actually did look decent, instead of scruffy.

He led her into the Inn and from behind the front desk pulled out a silky gray blue dress with dragons embrodiared on the hem and cuffs. It looked like a flowy skirt with a puffy pirate sleeved shirt, but all in one piece. "What do you think?"

"It's not scratchy." she notes.

One was black with a white patch on its rump and black spots. Its tack was decorated in silver with bells. The second was brown with a lighter brown patch on its rump. It was wearing light barding.
"This is Shady Lady," Alec said, indicating the black horse. "Verra normally rides her, but you can borrow her for today."

After a moment of awkwardness, she gets on the horse, and pats it. "Cool..."

Clicking his tongue, he steered his horse to the woods that used to lead to his house, keeping the animal at a light walk.

Sisu clinged to Mel's shoulder. Well, this was different.
