Well, I changed my user name. After ... years of being just my name I decided to go for something actually descriptive of what I am. Admittedly this is more my canon me, but I think it fits. And besides, chaos is totally an element if I want it to be.

My brother got a new account all together. [livejournal.com profile] troven_tinkerer, but all the details haven't been filled in yet. Mostly because Kips never really used his old account so why not make him a new one? I suppose that means Lar should get one too. Jono's already works with [livejournal.com profile] cutting_visions . Personally I think it was fifteen bucks well spent on my name change.

But of course I do. I'm vain like that.

So. Yeah. New name, same old nut.

Oh! And I got to talk to Michael after AGES.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-25 09:16 am (UTC)(link)
I think the new name is PERFECT for you!!!

Was thinking of getting a new one for me too, after all having Leela1 for the past 6 years? Getting old.

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-25 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Much better than "totally oblivious to all danger" which someone suggested. :|

Leela1 is about as interesting as alec_troven.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-25 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Much better. Oh yes.

And hey, I would say that Leela is just as interesting as Alec. My name really sucks though. *sigh*

((I can't get in on my lj-login, my list says I'm logged in, LJ says I'm not. VERY frustrating.))

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
And it fits in the fifteen character limit.

What were you thinking of changing yours to?

((You and everyone else, it seems. :|))

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
That's true too.

Oh hell, I don't know. I tried a few things, just to see? They were all taken. I'll figure something out. I always do.

((still having probs with it. Damn you LJ! *kicks*))

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 03:52 am (UTC)(link)

No, wait that's sixteen, I think...

Don't hurt me.

((Apparently the LJ trying to kill the spambots is creating issues))

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
*just grins*

Hey, I won't hurt you. After all, you didn't say pocketsizedpurple, or cute-and-tiny anything.

I do like the horror part though. Hmm.

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think of you as pocket sized and I'd never call anyone cute and tiny unless they were like some sort of... hamster or something.

You can be quite the horror. To the right people at least.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
I appreciate that. I think that my problem is that I generally hang around with these neanderthals that are all six feet plus. Ok, my brother Derek isn't a neanderthal, but his old friend Jason is the one who coined the term 'pocket-sized'.

I still owe him a punch for that.

*bright smile* Yes, yes I can be!

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
Hah. I'm not even six feet. Just shy of five ten. I have no right to call anyone pocket sized. Also I think of Pokemon with pocket sized.

I'll hold him down!

Just try not to invoke Barney with purple and horror.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
He disappeared years ago, Alec. He's flown somewhere off the map. BUT IF HE DIDN'T... oh well, wishful thinking.

And come to think of it, I think I got him back when I accidentally rammed his car while we were racing up the mountain that time. Boy did he love his car.

Oh gods, not him. Anything but him! Ok, not the Corinthian either *shudder* but definitely not ol' fuzzy and purple!

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
Ruining a man's car? Oh yes. Perfect retaliation.

*shivers* Oh the Corinthian is creeeeepy and just wrong.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
It really was kind of an accident. Sorta. Man he got pissed!

I can deal with fuzzy nuts, but having mouths for eyes and all that... ok. I'm creeping myself out now. Lets just change the subject.

*makes herself comfortable on the floor* So Wizard, how you been? *grins*

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
I've been doing pretty good.

Kip's had dropped me into this gods awful novel deconstructing the fantasy genre. It's great. I'm completely aware of the fact that I'm in a bad fantasy novel and get to comment about it. A Sue name generator was used to name the love interest - yes, I have a Designated Love interest, but I'm trying to get the sidekick to fall in love with me - and I say 'hey this name sounds like it comes from a sue name generator. Oh wait, it did.

Hanging around Mixed_Muses. Poked SixWordStores a little. Not much otherwise.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
You get to break the forth wall and have fun with it? Cool! I thought only Deadpool ever did things like that. *perks* Love interest? Tell me more!

Never heard of mixed_muses. Any good?

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
Designated love interest. Here's the description (she's just knocked me to the ground with a bucket to the head):

She was… she was hard to describe.

Forgive me for this, as I describe her.

She had fiery red hair with natural gold streaks in it (don’t ask me how I know these things), that flared up around her head like a halo in perfect straight, yet curly, perhaps even wavy glory. It swooshed around her and I could tell it went all the way down to the small of her back. Her skin was pale, but freckled, yet was tan at the same time from hard days of work under the sun. She had curves in all the right places, but somehow lithe and large ample breasts that heaved under her tight shirt. Her eyes were flashing an angry violet, but I knew they would change to a stormy green when she calmed down, reflecting her emotions.

Her clothes looked like they belonged to a soap opera’s idea of an innocent farm girl. A tight shirt, low cut to show off her cleavage, but she was wearing pants because she was feisty and not at all demure and gods forbid anyone ask her to act like a girl, oh no. She was not at all interested in acting like a lady.

This was probably a good thing, because from her position, if she had been wearing a dress, I could have seen up it.

Feel free to laugh.

I like it a lot! It's a bit of a 'spinoff' dressing room type place for a lot of the Milliways people. I met a bird changling there named Tiwa and she and I have far too much time egging each other on. (Flying sparkling sheep that glow in the dark is too a good idea)

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
*the grin grows, and grows. She doesn't quite laugh though. Not quite. Not yet*

Wow, and I thought I was a sue. I want to know how a skin can be tanned and pale - oh wait, tanlines! And purple hair that turns green. She's like a revolving colorwheel!

And you know, take it from me. When Derek was working my ass off, back when I was in training and vamp hunting with him? Curves and ample breasts were not what happened. I lost CUP SIZES thanks to him and his 4 am 'wake up and exercise my ass off' calls. *NOW She laughs*

I've never been to Milliways either. Not yet at least. (And flying sparkly sheep is good, but only when you can brandish a light saber or something.)

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
She's a Mary Sue! It's fantastic! I get all weirdly poetic whenever I'm around her in the story.

Of course she doesn't loose her hips or cup sizes. How else could she be so wonderfully sexy... like a Rob Lifeld drawing.

You can't get into Milliways proper if you're not a canon character. I wait eagerly for the day I'm published. Mixed Muses is for all the Original Characters hanging around. Currently Kips has my brother and a phoenix in an open post there.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Ahh, weirdly poetic? Sounds like one of my headmates, that is when he's not being psychotic and murderous.

Man, Rob Lifeld drawings are as bad as barbie dolls. If I had my choice? I'd be a Julie Bell or a Boris Vallejo drawing. They always seem to have long legs and such great muscle tone. And great jewelry!

Well, no Milliways for me then. *shrug* I suppose I can try and get my writer to let me into MM though. Let me work on it.

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, like "She softened like butter in a microwave" or "[her]every movement was like a whipping blade of grass press her voluminous breasts that smelled like dewy night blossoms".

Oh They're great artists! Kips has a whole trading card collection of their work that they did for Marvel comics. Them or the Hildenbrant -I think that's how you spell their name - brothers. Their stuff is lovely!

DUUUEEE IT. I will bother you there and make my friends bother you too. It will be awesome.

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
Your wish is my command. *waves a hand* And all that stuff.

I thought the name rather appropriate, don't you?

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)
It describes about half the people I know. The other half could be described as a lot bit crazy. A small percentage is just plain weird.

I don't know if I know anyone normal...

[identity profile] leela1.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
True, but I found the name first. Go me?

Normal people creep me out. I mean, they would if I knew any of them. I'll take nexus folk any day.

[identity profile] elementwizard.livejournal.com 2011-10-26 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay. Yes. You got the name first. Go you.

Normal people are boring. Or so I've heard.
