Precognition sucks ass. Especially when it won't go away. I think I'm going to bash myself into unconciousness.

There's pauseage as he tries to figure out how to sit and lie back at the same time, but he tries for a leaning thing.

*Kaa coils up and around him*

You'll be able to leave the trance at any point. Just ask me. Alright?

"Alright." he nodds.

Look in my eyes, and don't worry.

"Alright," he does so.

Lie back further, now. Relax.

*He'll see them change, and eventually feel a gradually intensifying feeling of comfort and safety, warmth. Kaa shifts about him, massages a bit.*

He tries, but letting go of control is always very hard. But they are very shiny eyes.

*touches his cheek, speaking softly- his voice has the same sort of 'flavour' as the eyes, lazy and sifting*

Trust me?

"I trust you..." he says with a deep breath.

Good... *lifts Alec's arm just a little* Heavy.

"Heavy?"

*eases him further into the coils, projecting more 'tired'*

Heavy. Rest, Alec. Is that so difficult?

"Dun wanna loose control. Dun wanna hurt you," he murmurs.

I've got you, and you won't totally lose control. You will see and be able to stop what I do.

"I know..."

*a little tickle, and Kaa slips more of his power in*

He's slippy down that slope.

You're doing well.

Just a bit more. I've got you.

He nods sleepily, looking kinda zoned.

See? *earpets* Easy.

He purrs leaning into the ear pets.

*establishing an empathic hold on him* Sleep.

He nods off at the suggestion.

*Kaa doesn't quite know how, but he recognises precognitive areas in the mind- he searches and dulls it. This is much easier than conventional hypnosis.*

Alec is all noddy and sleep like.

*And, eventually, it's done: the spike there is smoothened over, and normal function restored. Kaa removes the hold he has, and murmurs.*
