We've started Sari on solid foods. Or at least we're trying to. She seems to enjoy splattering them more than eating them. I think she likes the strained peas the best. At least she has the most fun with them. I've made it the cook's job to make baby food. He's been intrigued by the challenge and has been coming up with all sorts of different mushed combinations. Some of them are right out. Like tuna and pumpkin. Bleeeck.

Andy and I have been going over plans for decorating the Inn for Halloween this year. Hawk wants to help... some how. He's always found the idea of Halloween intersting. I might put him in charge of decorating the front. He and Braxious could do it. That'd keep the two of them busy and be good bonding time.

Teeeeena. If you read this, I need to borrow Kai. It's really,really,really,really important.

I have a feeling that it's not, considering that there isn't really anything that Kai could do for him that he couldn't manage on his own.

I don't really have much say in the matter. My pestering only goes so far, too, as is made obvious by the lack of me having a car to drive. Sigh.

And why do you have to prove to people that you have a boyfriend so that they'll leave you alone anyway? If they're trying to flirt with you, just introduce them to Verra. Most people won't flirt with someone who's married.

Because it's guys that are bothering me? And it's fun to flaunt the boyfriend. I've done the flaunt the wife (and two kids). Which has gotten rid of the girls. But there are still some guy hanger oners. ^_^ Besides, It's a terrible excuse to take Kai out.

I find that hard to believe. Most married men don't have boyfriends on the side, Alec, as hard as that may be for you to believe.

And flirting with married people is still extremely rude, influential family or no. Do they have no manners at all?

And not only that, On the whole not flirting with married people thing, you'd be surprised how many people totally ignore that. I mean they're not really after me so much as the name, you know? Trovens are some one.

So take him out. GOD, Alec, I'm not part of every single aspect of the lives of every single character I Author for. They CAN do things without me. I should hope that after yea many months Kippur has got enough of a handle on Kai to know what he would and wouldn't do. Let me put this in simple words for you.

You. Don't. Need. Me. For. Every. Date. You. Have. With. Kairos. You want to go out, go out. Just don't get my poor god in over his head or anything. If I have to come back later and untangle some damn mess, I WILL hurt you.

Yes, well the last time I checked, he was still busy. Is he not busy anymore?

I imagine he could wring out sufficient time for a date or two. Yeesh.
