(no subject)

Well Kips got peeved enough last night to ban me from the lounge. For a week. I'm going to be a good little muse and respect her wishes (as much as it annoys me). So if anyone wants to say hi, drop by my Inn or response center I'll be doing stuff there. Though Teena, I'd prefer if it has to do with Braxious and his schooling or testing that they stop by the Inn and not the RC. Of course I imagine you would too. They can just go through the Inn down at the city and they'll reach me as sure as walking through demensions.

Agent Teena I hope you're feeling better. And listen to Irvine, okay? Getting up and around while your sick with a mysterious magical flu isn't fun. I know, I've done it before. And the relapse is a bitch. I'll be sending chicken soup, the universal cure all, from the Inn for you (complete with Matzoh Ball, for some reason, I mean I'm not even Jewish, the Inn's not run by Jews, the cook's not Jewish and yet for some reason Tregeit (the cook) insists that chicken soup must have matzoh balls. I don't know, I'd worry about him, except he's the best cook I've got.)

Arty, I think we had a bit of a misunderstanding last night. I wasn't belittiling you. I was just poking fun at the circumstances of the lounge and how it seemed to be the place to go if you want to hook up with someone. If I hurt you, I didn't mean to, and I wish you all the best with Seren (though Kip's is still abit canon Nazi annoyed about the whole bondmate-thingy.)

Speaking of Seren, do you want a Romulan Warbird? I um... seem to have "accidently" picked up one.

Irvine please drop by the Inn for a drink. I got to see your place, I want to show you mine. ... That sounded wrong somehow.

Teena (Author) drop by too? You can even bring Archer if you want. I forgot to give you guys something.

I think that's it. If I don't see any of you, see you in a week.

Nowhere in canon, to my knowledge, does it state that Romulans CAN'T bond. And the circumstantial evidence for them being able to is fairly compelling in my opinion.

But you know what? True, false, canon or not, it doesn't matter. Seren came from a Sue-fic, and whatever was possible in the fic is what Seren is capable of. It's not canon for Romulans to be vampires, either, now IS it? You wanna try and tell him he's not? I'd pay to watch that conversation.

*sighs* As for dropping in... I dunno. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. November isn't a good month for me, it really isn't...

Well fine. I'll drop in on you. Kips may have banned me from the lounge but she hasn't banned me from else where. Vitally imporant (to my own personal sanity-superstions-feeling of being a proper friend) to give this too you.

For Eru's sake...

[identity profile] teena-chan.livejournal.com 2004-11-07 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm telling you, you can't find my home. Fine, I'll stop by. I very much doubt I'll be bringing Archer.

Ch' I know I can't go to your place. But that doesn't mean I can't waylay you else where. I mean really, do you expect me to go against your wishes on this whole thing? You've made it abundantly clear that you want me nowhere near your home. So I'll not go.

I'm going with Teena on this one. I don't care what kind of assumptions that people have or haven't made about canon Romulans (which, as far as I can tell, aren't very much mentioned in a lot of aspects), but Seren isn't your average Romulan anyway. He's not canon, he's part vampire, it's not like he can change that. If you can't handle the fact that he's not a perfect canon Romulan...well...

I'll be blunt. What you said, whether or not it was meant to sound that way...it came out sounding rather nasty. It didn't sound like you were poking "fun" at anything. Between that and Kippur's comments, I felt something between offended and hurt.

Maybe it's me. I'm really starting to think that it is.

I would tell you not to be surprised if you don't see me in the lounge, but then, you're obviously going to be gone for a week. I might come back around by then. *shrugs* Maybe, maybe not. All I know is that it's not been a good place for me to be lately, and I don't see a point to going in if I just end up annoying other people and getting myself upset.

Talk to Kips about the Romulan things. She's the Star Trek canon Nazi. I could care less having ruined it myself once or twice.

I could have sworn I mentioned that she was the canon nazi...

Anyway... I see what I did wrong and I have made a note of it. If I continue to do this please let me know. Up front. Be blunt. Thank you.

Canon nazi is one thing. I'm that way in LotR. And if someone in LotR has a speculation that's supported by evidence in the canon, but not specifically written about, and it's logical, then I don't tend to jump all over it. Even in verses which are highly described and well-formed, there are patches which are up to speculation.

In other words, "It's not explicitly stated in canon that it's possible" isn't an extremely good basis to be going nazi on. At least, I think so. Maybe I'm more lenient with the half-way reasonable people after seeing so many people trample canon mercilessly.

That's all I have to say about that. *shrugs*

I don't know what was going on in your head. All I know is how it sounded to me. And I told you how it sounded to me. So that's that. I've probably been spending too much time around the agents, since I've seemed to pick up on the being blunt thing.

Well you know, that's the same sort of arguement for having unicorns in Middle Earth as well.

Why are arguing about this? Argue about this with Kips.

[identity profile] agent-artemis.livejournal.com 2004-11-07 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
As for unicorns, I've yet to see any evidence that would support the fact they did exist in Middle Earth. And quite a bit against it.

I'm not going to argue about anything. I'm done. Hence the 'all I have to say' comment.
