This is just my point of view on things. I don't know if it's right or wrong or hypocritical or what not. But it is my thoughts on last night's conversation about Diablos.

Things that I know:

1. Diablos is some version of Irvine.
2. He's threating/malicious perhaps not overtly, but subtly.
3. He doesn't have a goal in life, at least that's what Irvine say/thinks
4. He may be trying to figure this out.
5. He has hurt Irvine and made passes at Teena
6. He may not be a threat now, but he could become one.
7. He seems to be overtly facinated by Teena and Irvine.
8. Teena and Irvine don't see him as enough of a threat to go after him now.
9. He's very powerful
10. He's mentally connected to Irvine

Whenever I suggested going after him to make him less of a threat, I've been put down. Someone... It think it was Irvine, said that they were surprised that I of all people would be intersted in cutting someone off from their powers. And, yes, getting cut off from my powers was a horryfing experince. It was also done for a reason. I may not have liked the reason. I may not have agreed with the reason. But it was done for a reason, and not for some arbitray whim. I suggested it so that he wouldn't be a threat. I was doing some preventive thinking. Trying to prevent a problem before it happens.

Since he is, at least we think, maybe trying to find a purpose in life, perhaps we should help him do that. Get him a job at the PPC or something, just -I don't know- make sure he doesn't turn out to be an evil SOB. Or at least one that's going to do some damage.

I really don't like the uncertiny around him. I don't like the waffleness around you guys when it comes to him. Something should be done with him. If only to prevent a tragedy from happening. I mean I've seen enough situations like these where nothing preventative was done before hand and bad things happened. I don't want bad things to happen. I've had my fill of bad things happening.

So... I don't know...It's just what I think. Not that it matters what I think... I mean he's never done anything to me or what not.And I guess he is your problem... but ...

Well.. there is always the old Adage keep your friends close and your enimes closer. And I'm not suggesting doing anything to him persay, so much as...well being clever in the way we keep an eye on him.

He's an intelligent and curious individual. Offer him a job that'll make use of his talents and let him go off and do his own thing at the same time. Something that'll keep him amused. He was willing to work for the Queen I'm sure mostly for the amusement that it afforded him.

If he's reformed, as you say, then try if not make friends but build some sort of bridge over to him to at least keep him in sight.

Am I making any sense? I don't know... thinking was never my strong suit, having relied mostly on my good looks and luck.
