And there's definitely a lot of discussion of quarks, strange and charm in it, according to the description. I haven't read it yet but he expressed an interest in the book so I offered to try and find it for him.

Without analysing the entirety of Keldran colour symbolism, basically: Red for blood, associated with incubus vampires, with passion, and the base chakra. Purple for that which is enlightened and understanding, the crown chakra. Black for sin, and the darkness of night.

[Because those are interesting choices if Vhal and/or Phoenix to use. Alec wouldn't mind Vahl going on about them; he's always interested in learning more about their world and culture.]

Yeah. They don't up show up in any of the ones he's in. He heard about them at the bar and wanted to know if I could find them for him since I've got access to more realities than he does.

For the children and the younger teenagers, white and lilac-coloured blooms are more appropriate. White for innocence, and lilac has more or less the same meaning as the darker purple. It's' a little like Valentines day cards, The older children give those ... cutsey things, where the adult are running around snorting over the dirty ones.

Yeah, middle of New Year's Week celebration. You're celebrating the end of the old year and old loves or friendships or whatever and the beginning of the new year and new ones. Lots of people get engaged then, too. Or find out that the person they like has absolutely no interest in them whatsoever...

[New Years week is always fun for Alec. He was born on the the leap day which started the new year so he gets little special things... and has little special responsibilities. At least on leap day.]

He's more like a collective. Apparently he accidentally ended up accessing his higher consciousness and connected to a bunch of his alts and now they're kind of like a hive mind. Where I'm more of a parasite leeching off of my alternate's lives they're sharing information.

He thought I was interesting; the two ways we see the multiverse is so different and yet similar.

And we're both interested in multiversal and temporal theory.

It's a festival day set aside for romance and sex, thus pressurising the general populace into thinking they're less than worthy if they spend it alone. Or elect not to spend a small fortune on rare blooms, a romantic dinner, or the usual ... You get the drift.

One could argue that St. Valentine's day or Naery'Enan, are also days when one finds the person(s) they like or want has no interest in them.

I think if a date is implying you're not expressing it well enough you're probably doing something wrong and should talk to them about it. Especially if you do love them.

Actually, no. I've not found him in my world. He tends to show up more on Earths than others.

You express your love for me in words, thoughts and deeds very well. Even with just the lightest of touch of fingers bushing against an arm or a flicker of a glance. Your thoughts are enough to warm glaciers and even if you spoke no words I could understand they would still mean everything to me.
