Some iron, some silver - which is one reason that another name for it is "silver-steel" - a few other things. It also takes to enchantment and blessings really well, I've found. I made the blade of my spear out of it, and I've yet to find a Fey, werewolf, or unholy beast that didn't hate getting hit by it.
