Went to the doctor's today to get Verra and the baby checked out. It went well enough until the doc decided to take a prenatel embryonic fluid sample thingy. Verra got a tiched bit annoyed... or perhaps instinctive at this and mauled the poor guy. He'll live. Though I imagine he'd like to have lived with out seeing what his spleen looked like from the outside.
Yeah, so um...Verra's definately gotten a bit on the touchy side since she's gotten her dragonic instincts back. She's been looking at Brax kinda funny too lately. I think she's wondering what he's still doing around. He's not supposed be around if she's having another kid. Wondering if I should move him up to the Inn or something. Keep on my eye this.
What else? Nothing else I guess.

Um, I know that this really isn't a good post to introduce myself to you, but I'm Dragonwhishes, fangirl. I was kinda hoping that my introductory post would involve me glomping you, but...
Nice to meet ya. Permission to fangirl?
no subject
Yeah, Verra's a dragon.
You want to be my fangirl? I'm flattered. What sort of fangirl are you planning on being?

*Remembers that he is married. Remembers reading that Verra mauled a doctor. ... Wonders if this whole fangirling thing is a good idea.*
*straightens up, and shuffles feet.* Well, I was considering being the type of fangirl who would help out instantly if asked, who would follow you around like a lost puppy, who would also blush and laugh nervously when talked to.
I'm good at getting things (most of the time. If I have really, really good instructions on where the thing is), I'm good at locating books in libraries and bookstores, remembering things involving books, and am good with any sort of animal. Cats, dogs, rats, anything. I'm good at running short distances; i.e. I can go fix the table at the end of the hall at lightning speed.
I'd love to help out with anything I can help out with: personally, I'd love to work at the Inn, but I remembered and realized that a) I'm not an original or canon character, and b) I don't think the rules would let me help out as myself.
And I'm a role-play freak.
*coughs, and sits down.* Sorry for taking up your time, Sir.

That would be my forte. I'm an earthy type deity, but I've always had a special fondness for the critters.
How are you with winged wolves? Some of the ones from my world are especially contrary creatures. Especially the dragon-winged kind. I still need to name the species...Of course, I wouldn't call them animals. That would make them rather crabby.
Or the dragon. Yes, I've also have a very young silver dragon (Dragonlance verse, I think) that I adopted. (Or maybe she adopted me.) She's not exactly happy where she is now, I need to find her a new place to hang out.
And it's so hard to find a good babysitter for a dragon...Hehe. I'm Artemis, author entity, and a lot of other semi-strange things. I'm both insane enough to
reluctantlyclaim several agents as being under my wing, and I'm a friend of Alec. It's nice to meet his "official fangirl", hee.*pets Alec* Aren't you flattered, 'lecky? ^_^

Crud. Ah, well, maybe both of us could help out? *Continues to read* *splutters* You're a deity?!?
Winged wolves...? Uh, I haven't encountered any in my very short life yet, but as long as they were trained not to bite or kill me, maybe. I'm up for a challenge if said challenge involves anything or the animal kind. (My Mom was the offical "Finder of Lost Critters" on our road. I think she passed it on to me.)
You're asking me to babysit a DRAGON?! I... I dunno. How good is she? She wouldn't tear apart my house, would she? (My grandparents would kill me...) Or set it on fire? Would she eat my rabbits? My kittens? I've never seen a real dragon. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE dragons...
*grins* Nice to meet you, Ma'me. My name is Melinda, but everybody calls me Mel, Melly, Etty (short for Etymologist. They decided to slap another T in there to make it look offical.), or Metty. I'm a wannabe author, and I have an overactive imagionation. *bows*

The problem with Alec is that if he has critter problems, he's likely to have it with something that is more than a little dangerous. Just don't play with anything that you're not familiar with, and you'll be okay.
*gives Alec a pointed look* If you have any stray animals (of ANY kind) or critters that are causing problems, you can always ask me to take care of them for you. Consider me on call, if you must, since I know that you won't remember me when these things come up otherwise.
Anyway, I think that the wolves would be nice to you, if nothing else. The dragon, though, she wouldn't eat your kittens or your rabbits (as long as you told her that you really don't want them eaten), but she would likely destroy your house. By accident, mostly. She has a tendency to chew on metal stuff, and to pick up anything that looks interesting...you know, generally destructive stuff, just not on purpose.
Hm, that's a lot of nicknames. We'll just take the first one...Mel it is.

Okay. That sounds good. Knowing my luck, though...

Hm, that's a lot of nicknames. I had a lot of friends who kept coming up with them. They just wouldn't stop. Although, it is a varity...

And don't call me sir... I keep on looking over my shoulder for my dad.

Sorry. I was in martial arts, and it was drilled into my head from day one that you call your male elders "Sir" and your female elders "Ma'am".
no subject
And that's alright. Andy has a habbit of calling me boss or boss man. You could call me that, or Alec is also fine.
no subject
Ah, okay. Promise not to kill me if I slip and call you Sir?
no subject
And I won't hurt you if you call me sir by accident.
no subject
Okay, thank you again.
