No one likes the look of that blade. That is half the point of the blade. The blade is only used for one thing. Murder. (And apparently cleaning fingernails.) But if he is going to use it on someone it's going to be for a killing blow. He can miss, but he doesn't aim to injure. Betrayal is killing something in someone.

It's not his fault. He doesn't know how Alec or anything really works. Alec barely knows how Alec works.
