Shit and firebolts

I have decided that the SO's are suicidal, in the Prachettian sense. I mean very bloody and messy and probably charred around the edges suicidal and then ground up for fertilizer. That has to be the only reason why they would assign Lorac to me while my wife is on her "vacation".

She's gotten broody. Which means that she's even more impossible to live with than normal. She went up to them folks Upstairs and told them she was going on paid leave. She went up there in her full dragon form, spitting flame. That was probably why they didn't argue with her. I generally don't argue with her when she's like that either. Last time I did I ended up in the hospital with numerous broken things.

So she's off brooding (which is the dragon form of PMS)and that left me minus a partner. So they sent me Lorac.

He's been bloody pawing at me all afternoon. I swear a man has only so much self control. At least I got that empathic dampeners from Make Things, so our empathic link is dampened and I'm not leaping all over him making out, like he'd want me to.

Ahhhh Firebolts, alarm just went off. Lorac should be coming back from the cafeteria soon too. Best be off.

Ahaha. *smirk* Lovely, isn't it, that beeeeep.

I think your theory about "suicidal" Flowers has much merit. If talking about short things in dwarf bars is suicidal, then raising an army of assassins skilled in poisons and pointy objects and then treating them badly is definitely suicidal. One wonders why the life expectancy of a Flower is as long as it is. (Possibly the introduction of Bleeprin has helped?)

"And you're sure I have to be naked for the fitting?"

That's all I'm saying...

I doubt that being in dragon form and spitting fire was the main reason that the Flowers let Verra have what she wanted. Surely you know by now that the wrath of a pissed-off, homicidal, and hormonal female is enough to make anyone cower. The dragon thing just makes it even worse.

Good luck with Lorac by the way. Ha ha ha...
