Title: Of two worlds
Fandom: Alec fan fic - JLA/Avengers
Rating: G
Notes; I haven't written an Alec fan fic in a while and I'd just reread JLA/Avengers recently when this popped into my head. This is the sort of fan fiction I would write for Alec way many years ago.
Disclaimer: JLA and the Avengers belong to DC and Marvel respectively. Nate also belongs to Marvel. Alec belongs to me.

Clearly that had been one of Alec’s stupider moves. Obviously it’d been intelligent of him to pop into Kronos’ hideout made from Galactus raging with chaotic energy and start poking around. Why else would he have done it? Curiosity killed the cat, or in this case got him popped in the jaw. While his fantastic powers afforded him protection from ranged attacks, in regards to physical attacks he had the same protections as any mere mortal. He even reacted like any pure mortal getting punched in the jaw as well: crumpling like a puppet with his strings cut. Something must have happened afterwards, what, he didn’t know. But it did.

Why else was he stuck on the JLA watchtower after the whole crossover with the Avengers with the JLA claiming that he was the ‘child’ of their two universes created at the moment they split?

Not that this was one of the weirder things that happened to him. Being the embodiment of Chaos led for all sorts of interesting things happening to him.

For now, while he recovered, he had to play along. Not that he wouldn’t in the first place, he liked doing it. It just got kind of boring at times.

“Are you all right?” The Martian Manhunter asked, coming up behind him. “You’ve been staring out the window for a long time.”

Alec turned his head from the magnificent view of the moon that the watchtower afforded and gave a slight smile. “Yes, I’m fine. Just a bit stir crazy.”

“I can understand the feeling. However we still can’t let you out.”

They couldn’t, really. Alec saw the video of what happened when he had been on Earth. His powers fluxed out of control causing all sorts of havoc. They’d been able to create a field that contained the energy, but it wasn’t that big, only big enough to cover the Watchtower, which they felt was the safest place to hold him. Away from any potential super-villains and people who wanted to have their very own chaos bomb. What really bothered Alec, though he didn’t say so, was his apparent regression to a seventeen year old. Normally he looked to be in his early twenties. Now he looked like a raw seventeen year old boy not even out of high school yet.

At least he wasn’t a child this time around.

He hated when that happened.

“Yeah, I know. I know,” he sighed.

Turning to the window he could see his supposed mother in the stars. The embodiment of this universe was a woman, the embodiment of the Avenger’s universe was a man. Some how they created him. No one knew exactly how, just that they did. He knew how. His chaos powers were warping the reality to make them accept this tiny flaw of consistency, to make him belong to this world. To give them an explanation to how someone like him could exist.

It was sort of like a camouflage; letting the universe accept this strange parasite into it without too much problem.

“We are working on a way for you to leave the Watchtower. No one should be trapped anywhere, even if it is a place as beautiful as this. We’re also working on getting you a civilian identity. Do you have any suggestions for a name?”

Ah yes, a name. They’d been calling him ‘Chaos’ since he got here. Apparently that, they were told, was his name. Born of chaos. Technically true, but he did have a name. Which he took this opportunity to tell them: “Alec. Alec Troven.”

The Manhunter blinked. Clearly he didn’t expect him to come up with a name so quickly.

“I’ve been thinking about it,” Alec said as an explanation.

The other man(?) nodded, accepting this. “Very well, Alec.”

Alec smiled at him, inwardly wishing his powers would hurry up and resort themselves out. Or at least have something interesting happen. He was terribly bored.

Perhaps he could bring Nate over…

Title: Unexpected Impressions, a Protectors of the Plot Continuum Mission.
Fandom: Um... PPC and Dragon Riders of Pern
Rating: PG for nasty Sueness.
Summary:  Alec and Marc-C go to Pern, kill a Sue and will likely get into trouble with the Flowers later.

Marc-C came into the Department of Improbabilities in room 3b (the continuing whereabouts of rooms 3a and 3c were still unknown, though rumor had it that 3a may be located next to the dungeons) to discover her partner, Alec, playing a game of Solitaire with a deck of Tarot cards. The large woman, with short blonde hair and far too many guns stared at the slighter fey looking man until he looked up and gave her a bit of a smile.

And the mission continues )

Okay... shit is happening and I don't know what it is or what's going on, but shit is happening. Then Inn is faltering out of its demensional space and starting to ground in a reality. I don't know which reality. Which is really bothersome.  The machines are starting to act wonky too.

It doesn't help that I'm not feeling top notch either. My brain feels like swiss cheese and lemon. I forgot about MEL. Gods, I forgot about Mel and nearly got her killed. Stupid... stupid stupid!
